A consignment is made up of many other different goods, and not just goods for Plus260.

We have two major shipping partners at the moment. Company A ships phones and other battery products like laptops, headsets, speakers, smart watches and more. Company B ships phone cases, football jerseys and other products that don't have batteries. On many occasions, goods sent with the Company B usually are delivered way faster than those with Company A. This is because battery products are usually checked quite longer than non battery products. This is the reason why if you buy a phone case and a phone, the phone case is likely to be delivered faster than the phone. The phone case might be delivered in 7-15 days, while the phone in about 15-21 days after you purchased it. On many occasions, delivery is even as sooner as 8-14 days after you made the order.

The reason we work with the above two shipping companies is that their shipping prices are quite affordable and they are efficient most of the time. This enables us to ship your goods at a low price while maintaining a low price for the goods on the the website.

On the other hand, DHL offers delivery in about 14 days or less after you make the order. The only down side is you have to pay an extra K950/phone for this service.

When it comes to shipping or delivery delays, the cause is usually at the Customs Check in Hong Kong or Addis Ababa. Like mentioned above, the products usually affected are products with batteries. Most times, customs check is fast and delivery to Lusaka happens in no time. On few occasions however, customs in Hong Kong decides to do extensive searches of the consignments. Sometimes they find certain products they deem as illegal and do more searches looking for that product. At this stage, the ETA of the consignment to Lusaka is in the hands of Hong Kong Customs. It can take anywhere from 2 to 21 days for customs to clear the consignment. After they are done, it takes only about 7-10 days to reach Lusaka.
