Xiaomi recently announced the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is powered by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and that gives it a boost in processing, and possibly in the overall user experience.

When it comes to the camera, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra continues its imaging collaboration with Leica, with camera specs that build on those seen in their previous model. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s quad rear-camera comes equipped with the newest generation 1-inch 50 Mega-pixel main sensor, which is expected to have better light-gathering capabilities.

The main camera’s lens also has a 23mm equivalent focal length lens with a wider range in variable aperture than the 13 Ultra’s variable aperture, meaning more light should be able to hit the sensor, which can help in more difficult low-light situations.

In other key areas, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s 5000 mAh battery supports charging up to 90W, just like the 13 Ultra, but Xiaomi brings its HyperCharge technology to wireless charging, with a support of 80W (compared to 50W in the 13 Ultra).

And with the display, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts an increase to peak brightness of the 3000 nits, compared with the previous model’s 2600 nits. Which is great!
